In order to share my passion for computer science, I led weekly programming classes for 20 students (grades 9-12) at a CBSE school in Takwe village, where no teacher was available. Each Saturday, I traveled over four hours to teach the students the basics of Python, introducing them to coding concepts such as syntax, data types, loops, and functions. Over time, the children gained a strong foundation in programming and developed strong problem-solving skills through hands-on practice.
My goal was to bridge the gap in the school’s resources and provide these students with skills that would empower them academically and professionally. As a growing economy, India offers tremendous opportunities in the field of Technology, and I wanted the students to be able to make the most of this. I am ecstatic to see that the children gained a sense of confidence in their technical abilities, setting them up for future careers in the field.
